JAKARTA — Federasi Sepak bola Italia (FIGC) resmi mengajukan permohonan kepada Dewan Asosiasi Sepak Bola Internasional (IFAB) untuk mengubah regulasi pergantian pemain di kompetisi Liga Serie A.
IFAB merupakan lembaga di luar FIFA yang turut mengatur regulasi dan olahraga sepak bola.
FIGC mengajukan format pergantian pemain sebanyak lima kali untuk setiap pertandingan di kasta tertinggi Liga Serie A.
Saat ini, regulasi yang diberlakukan setiap tim yang bertanding diperbolehkan mengganti pemain sebanyak tiga kali dalam waktu pertandingan selama 90 menit.
Presiden FIGC Gabriele Gravina telah mengirimkan permohonan ke IFAB terkait dengan rencana penerapan aturan pergantian pemain yang baru itu.
Di Italia, klub Serie C dan Serie D sudah mengadopsi aturan pergantian pemain sebanyak lima kali.
Jika disetujui, Serie A Italia akan menjadi kompetisi liga pertama yang menerapkan pergantian pemain hingga lima kali untuk setiap pertandingan.
